Start ScoringHow Score My Match works, what it costs, and what happens to your match link.
Yes. Scoring and sharing a live match is completely free, with no account required. The viewer page has one small ad unit — that's the only revenue. It never appears on the scorer page.
Most sports apps that become globally famous are heavily venture-backed. To return that money, they're forced to make you register, sell you subscriptions, or sell your data, or get you to book turfs through them. Score My Match isn't that. It's a small independent tool built to do one thing: share a live score in seconds. No investors telling us to monetize you. No registration wall. No data to sell.
No sign-up required. Just visit the site, pick your sport, enter team names, and set a short scoring password. Your match is live in under 30 seconds.
Score My Match currently supports football in 5-a-side, 7-a-side, and 11-a-side formats, plus cricket in T10, T20, and custom-over formats. We plan to add more sports based on user feedback and demand.
Yes. Enter two team names and start scoring. There are no player registrations, rosters, or team profiles.
When you create a match, you set a short code such as LION42. This password lets you update the score from the scorer page while keeping the viewer link public and read-only. Anyone with the viewer link can watch — only someone with the password can score.
After creating a match, you get a unique viewer link. Drop it into a WhatsApp group, SMS, or any other app — anyone who taps it sees the live score updating in real time, with no login needed.
The link stays live for 30 days from the last score update. Share it before kick-off and it will be valid through the full game and for weeks after.
Yes. The scoring screen is designed for one-handed use on a phone, with large tap targets and instant feedback — no page reloads or fiddly inputs. It works in any modern mobile browser.
Yes. Multiple viewers can follow the same link at once. The score refreshes automatically every few seconds with no action needed from viewers. Only someone with the scoring password can update the score.
Yes. The viewer page refreshes the score silently every three seconds — no tapping or reloading. As soon as the scorer records an action, it appears on every viewer's screen within moments.
Yes, completely. Viewers just tap the link and it opens in any mobile browser — no app download, sign-up, or permissions required. It also works in the browser built into WhatsApp.
The scoring page shows an error if it can't reach the server. Reconnect and continue — your last successfully saved score is safe. Keep a note of any events you missed and add them once you're back online.
You can undo the latest scoring event from the scorer page. Older events cannot currently be edited; full edit history is on our roadmap.
